Designers interpret their dream brides at the Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week 2012

It's one of those shows which ended with a standing ovation and designer Pallavi Jaikishan humbly accepted all the compliments coming her way. The designer presented a collection named 'Ashrafiyan' — a showcase of bridalwear that was both classic yet contemporary.

Each piece from the collection seemed like a stylish heirloom and featured Pallavi's signature flourishes.

The designer opened the show with a palette of yellows and gold, which moved on to more deeper shades of red and festive colours. She also showcased a line of upada sarees. Rachel Maria Bayros concluded the show in a soft peach coloured bridal outfit.

Vikram Phadnis presented a signature bridalwear collection, replete with heavy embellishment and his 'Bollywood touches'.
